Biography:

Alberto F. Villate is a Cuban-born C-level IT executive, entrepreneur, and active community leader. His grandfather’s prominence in Cuban broadcasting—later expanding into Argentina—sparked a lifelong passion for electronic technology, launching Alberto on a dynamic, nontraditional professional journey spanning three continents.

The suffering his family endured under communism in Cuba, and the freedom they found in the United States, instilled in him a deep, enduring appreciation for the justice and liberty enshrined in our Constitution.

Out of gratitude for the refuge and opportunity his adoptive nation provided, Alberto proudly served twelve years in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve. His service reflects a steadfast commitment to preserving the freedoms that define our republic—because, as he often says, freedom isn’t free.

Alberto’s family always understood that Cuba’s downfall stemmed not only from ideology, but from widespread apathy and complacency. That lesson remains central to his political philosophy and civic engagement today.

He currently serves as Secretary of the Yonkers Republican City Committee, Co-Ward Leader of the Fifth Ward, and a member of the Westchester County Republican Committee. Beyond the GOP, Alberto remains deeply involved in business and community life—collaborating with local government, chambers of commerce, trade associations, and community-based organizations to expand opportunity and improve quality of life. His advocacy is fueled by decades of experience and a passion for pragmatic, people-first public policy.

After serving with pride as RNHA New York State Regional Director, Alberto is thrilled to step into his new role as Republican National Hispanic Assembly’s Northeastern U.S. Regional Director. In this expanded capacity, he is committed to working hand-in-hand with RNHA leadership to strengthen, grow, and empower State RNHA Chapters throughout the Northeast.

Together, they aim to energize a diverse, informed, and engaged Latino-Hispanic constituency—united by shared values and a common purpose: advancing Republican ideals that uplift families, foster opportunity, and safeguard the American Dream for future generations.
