Chairman to Speak at GOP
Convention
The
organizers of the Republican
convention have invited
Republican National Hispanic
Assembly (RNHA)'s Former National
Chairman Raul Danny Vargas to
speak at the Party’s national
convention in Minneapolis-Saint
Paul, Minnesota.
Vargas is scheduled to speak on
September 3, the third night of
the convention, the same night
the Party’s Vice Presidential
nominee is scheduled to speak.
He will be one of several
speakers in an evening with the
theme of “Prosperity.”
Representing the RNHA, Vargas
will address the positive impact
of the Hispanic American
community and its shared values
with the Republican Party. A
veteran and businessman, Vargas
lives in Virginia, a key state
in the 2008 election.
The
mission of the Republican
National Hispanic Assembly is to
build a membership organization
to foster the principles of the
Republican Party in the Hispanic
community, provide Hispanic
Americans with a forum to play
an influential role in local,
state, and national Party
activities, increase the number
of Hispanic Republican elected
officials, and create and
maintain a network of Hispanic
Republican leaders.
