The RNHA
Congratulates New RNC Chairman
Michael Steele
The
Republican National Hispanic
Assembly (RNHA) extends an
enthusiastic congratulation to
the newly elected Republican
National Committee (RNC)
Chairman, Michael Steele.
Chairman Steele won the election
in the sixth round of voting at
the RNC’s winter meeting,
capturing 91 votes of the 168
members of the national
committee.
RNHA National Chairman Danny
Vargas said “Michael will be an
outstanding leader who
understands the critical need to
expand the Party by
communicating with all Americans
our message of sound fiscal
policies, limited but effective
government, respect for freedom
and personal liberties, and
values we as Hispanics share
with the Republican
Party—family, faith, freedom and
opportunity.” He added, “A new
day is dawning for the
Republican Party and we have
reason to be optimistic about
our future.”.
The
mission of the Republican
National Hispanic Assembly is to
build a membership organization
to foster the principles of the
Republican Party in the Hispanic
community, provide Hispanic
Americans with a forum to play
an influential role in local,
state, and national Party
activities, increase the number
of Hispanic Republican elected
officials, and create and
maintain a network of Hispanic
Republican leaders.
