RNHA Elections - Congratulations and Thank You

On Saturday, August 15, 2009, the Republican National Hispanic Assembly (RNHA) held its bi-annual convention to elect its new executive board.  Alci Maldonado of Florida was elected National Chairman and has committed to lead a unified RNHA into the future.  Please join me in congratulating the new leaders of the RNHA:

-          Chairman – Alci Maldonado (Florida)

-          1st Co-Chairman – Tony Benegas (Washington)

-          2nd Co-Chairman – David Olivencia (Michigan)

-          Secretary – Lisa Benegas (Washington)

-          Assistant Secretary – Debbie Bishop (Florida)

-          Treasurer – Manuel Perez (Wisconsin)

-          Assistant Treasurer – Bob Spindell (Wisconsin)

Congratulations also to Rick Rios of California and his team for a strong campaign and a real desire to help the organization.  Their genuine interest and enthusiasm was inspiring and will be vital to helping the new executive board map out the future success of the RNHA.  Many great ideas and suggestions came forth as a result of this process and I am certain the organization will be better as a consequence.

It has been my humble honor and privilege to act as the temporary caretaker of the helm of this important organization for the last two years as your National Chairman.  I sincerely hope we made progress in setting the foundation that the new leadership team and the members across the country can use to continue to build upon.  Thank you for the opportunity and thank you for your support.  My prayers and best wishes will always be with all of you.

Our mission, our cause and our shared values must serve to propel us into our essential work in the coming months and years as we strive to ensure that we keep America strong and the land of opportunity.  May we now join forces and united to focus on common purpose and common principles.

Warmest regards,

Danny Vargas,

Former National Chairman, RNHA
